Day1:Airport pickup + Yu Garden + Mid-Lake Pavilion Teahouse + City God Temple
- Accommodation:Shanghai
Morning: Upon arrival in Shanghai, our staff will greet you at the airport according to your flight schedule and escort you to the hotel for check-in. Take a moment to rest and refresh after your journey.
Afternoon: Your first stop is the renowned Yu Garden, often hailed as "Shanghai's No.1 Classical Garden". Built during the Jiajing and Longqing eras of the Ming Dynasty (1559–1577), this masterpiece of Jiangnan-style landscaping features winding Nine-Turn Bridge spanning the central lake. Stroll through its pavilions, towers, and rockeries mirrored in tranquil ponds. We have specially arranged for you a traditional Chinese afternoon tea experience at the century-old teahouse. You can enjoy listening to the traditional Jiangnan operas while tasting the authentic Shanghai snacks.

Evening: A short walk takes you to the bustling Chenghuang Temple (City God Temple) neighborhood, where hundreds of food stalls offer local delights: steam rising from Nanxiang soup dumplings, the sweetness of pear syrup candy, and the savory aroma of spiced soybeans. Explore the historic streets while sampling these treats. As red lanterns gradually light up the area, the antique opera stage may host a lively Shanghai-style opera (Huju) performance, immersing you in the vibrant night atmosphere
- Day2(Shanghai→Wuxi):Hongyuan Temple + Lingshan Grand Buddha + Guanzhang Ancient Trail
- Meals:Breakfast & Dinner
- Accommodation:Wuxi
Morning: After breakfast, we will drive to Suzhou to visit Chongyuan Temple, often revered as the "Buddhist Sanctuary on Water". This ancient temple was destroyed twice in history during wars, and the current complex was rebuilt along the shores of Yangcheng Lake. The Guanyin Pavilion and Medicine Buddha Pagoda reflect beautifully on the lake’s surface, creating a serene sight. If you feel weary, enjoy a cup of the temple’s signature "Blessing Coffee" or "Blessing Tea", embracing the Zen philosophy of "seeking solitude within the bustling world".

Afternoon: After lunch, we proceed to Wuxi’s Grand Buddha of Lingshan, an 88-meter-tall outdoor bronze statue of Sakyamuni, completed in 1994. Though a modern structure, it embodies profound Buddhist heritage.
Beyond paying homage, take a stroll along the Rainbow Pathway, surrounded by lush Biluochun tea fields. Legend says tea cultivation in Wuxi dates back to the Tang Dynasty, and by the Ming-Qing era, it became a tribute tea for emperors.
We’ve arranged a hands-on experience at a local tea estate—pick tender tea leaves yourself and learn from farmers about Biluochun’s "one tenderness, three freshnesses" secret.
Day3 (Suzhou→Hangzhou):Xiangji Temple + West Lake boat ride + Leifeng Pagoda.
- Today highlights:
- Meals:Breakfast & Lunch & Dinner
- Accommodation:Hangzhou
Morning: Our first stop is Xiangji Temple, an ancient monastery renowned for its worship of the Kitchen God. Historically known as the "First Riverside Temple along the Grand Canal", it served as a spiritual haven for merchants who prayed for safe voyages and abundant provisions. A special vegetarian buffet at "Miaotihu" beside the temple awaits.

Afternoon: We’ll stroll along Su Causeway, a 2.8-kilometer embankment built by Northern Song poet-governor Su Shi to dredge West Lake. In spring, peach blossoms adorn the path; in summer, willow drapes sway—a painter’s dream. A gilded pleasure boat ride then reveals iconic sights: Lone Hill, Bai Causeway, and the "Three Pools Mirroring the Moon". As dusk falls, ascend Leifeng Pagoda to witness the lake bathed in golden sunset—the legendary "Leifeng Pagoda in Evening Glow".
Evening: Dine at "Qingchun Pumen", Hangzhou’s premier Zen-inspired vegetarian restaurant. Their "meditative cuisine" transforms dishes into edible art, paired with live guqin performances, inviting you to savor the Jiangnan literati’s "slow dining" elegance through taste and melody.
- Day4:Feilai Feng Peak + Longjing Tea Cultural Experience
- Today highlights:
- Meals:breakfast & lunch & dinner
- Accommodation:Hangzhou
Morning:The crisp morning air in Hangzhou makes it the perfect time to visit Lingyin Temple and Feilai Peak. Feilai Peak, an ancient volcanic rock formation, is adorned with numerous Buddhist carvings—the most famous being the nearly 1,000-year-old Maitreya Stone Statue from the Northern Song Dynasty, its jovial smile still radiant.
Lingyin Temple, Hangzhou’s oldest Buddhist monastery, has nurtured eminent monks through the ages. Here, you can offer prayers or try the temple’s signature vegetarian noodles—a recipe dating back to the Tang Dynasty, created to nourish pilgrims. Today’s "Luohan Noodles" retain the ancient formula: silky noodles in a savory broth, best paired with "vegetarian goose" (a seasoned tofu dish).

Afternoon: Journey to Longjing Mountain, the heartland of Dragon Well tea. Revered as a tribute tea since the Song Dynasty, Emperor Qianlong even designated 18 imperial tea trees here.
Follow local farmers into the terraced fields, learn to identify the "one bud, one leaf" standard for premium picks, and try your hand at tea harvesting. Farmers will explain the distinctions among China’s five major tea regions and demonstrate traditional pan-firing techniques(shaqing).and then enjoying a cup of tea under osmanthus tree.

Afternoon: Here stands Puji Temple (Universal Relief Temple), first built during the Northern Song Dynasty, where the solemn Yuan Dynasty Treasure Pagoda rises within its courtyards. At Guanyin Temple, we explore the legend of how the Tang Dynasty Guanyin statue became eternally enshrined here. Though compact, the temple exudes timeless simplicity and serenity. Later, we stroll through the Purple Bamboo Grove – its lush expanse of violet-tinged bamboo deepening our appreciation for the tranquility of Guanyin’s meditation grounds. Finally, we pay homage to the 33-meter-tall South Sea Guanyin Statue, a silent guardian overlooking the ocean, perpetuating a millennium of devotion.

We will also visit Shancai Cave, believed to be the meditation site of Sudhana (Guanyin’s disciple), where pilgrims often pray for blessings.
Afternoon: Taking a ferry back to Zhujiajian, then drive to Ningbo.
Evening: Stroll through Ningbo Drum Tower—a city gate tower first constructed in the Tang Dynasty and once the highest point in old Ningbo. The pedestrian street flanking the tower is lined with antique-style buildings, where shops sell local specialties like Ningbo-style sweet dumplings (tangyuan) and rice cakes (niangao).
Day7(Ningbo→Shanghai):Tianyi Pavilion Museum + Tiantong Temple + Bund Cruise

Next, venture into Tiantong Temple, revered as one of the "Five Great Mountains of Chinese Buddhism." We’ve arranged a unique experience: sharing a vegetarian meal with the monks in their rustic refectory, listening to the master explain the tradition of "no speech during meals."
Afternoon: After lunch, drive back to Shanghai. When night fell, we once again set off by car for the Bund and took a cruise. This riverside architectural gallery of nations chronicles Shanghai’s transformation from fishing village to global metropolis.
