- Day1:Arrive in Hangzhou +City-walk Longjing Village
- Accommodation:Hangzhou
Today, we’ll pick you up at the Hangzhou airport/train station and transfer you to your hotel by private car.
Afternoon:Join us for a Longjing Village city walk. Starting from the foot of the hill, we’ll ascend slowly through lush greenery. When the Spirited Away-style Tangwu Teahouse appears, it’ll feel like stepping right into the anime’s world! Continue upward to the hilltop swing for photos capturing sweeping emerald vistas, then descend to a foot-hill teahouse to savor osmanthus-infused Longjing tea.

Day2:Lingyin Flying-Struck Peak+leifeng pagoda+West Lake+The Daliang Street and Da Jing Lane of the Southern Song Dynasty
Meals:Breakfast
Accommodation:Hangzhou
Morning:We’ll visit Lingyin’s Feilai Peak, where the cliff carvings—mostly from the Song (960-1279) and Yuan (1271-1368) dynasties—epitomize southern Chinese grotto art. Next, explore a hidden temple founded in the Southern Song era (1127-1279), its Ming-Qing architectural layout perfectly preserved. Here, participate in blessings and sutra copying, connecting with Zen traditions spanning millennia.

Afternoon:Ascend Leifeng Pagoda (rebuilt in 2002) for panoramic West Lake views. At dusk, beat the crowds aboard the last rowing boat—a wooden vessel design documented in the 13th-century chronicle Wulin Jiushi—witnessing the lake’s centuries-old maritime legacy as sunset gilds the water.
Evening:Discover Hangzhou’s culinary gems independently, then wander Southern Song Imperial Street (the former capital’s central axis, still housing Song-era drainage beneath its flagstones) and Dajiang Lane (named after its Tang Dynasty well, once a bustling Ming-Qing trading hub), immersing in layers of living history.

Day3 (Hangzhou → Wuzhen):Wuzhen West Village
Meals:Breakfast & Dinner
Accommodation:Wuzhen
Morning:We depart Hangzhou by vehicle for Wuzhen—an 82-kilometer journey taking approximately 2 hours. Founded in the Tang Dynasty (618-907), Wuzhen flourished as a thriving trade hub during the Southern Song (1127-1279) and became the epicenter of Jiangnan’s silk trade in the Ming-Qing era (1368-1912).
Afternoon:Explore Xizha Scenic Area, where 12 Ming-era structures and 34 Qing buildings stand preserved, their bluestone pathways laid centuries ago. Experience Wuzhen storytelling—a 300-year folk art drawing from local legends and Ming-Qing tales—while sipping tea with elders. Observe the iconic stilted riverside dwellings, a "dwell-upon-water" architectural style documented in the Yuan Dynasty’s Wuzhen Annals.

Evening:For dinner, savor a waterside pavilion banquet in a Ming-origin building exemplifying Wuzhen’s "houses nestling over canals." Opt for a self-funded night rowing boat tour along canals dredged during Emperor Qianlong’s reign (1736-1795), where lanterns dangle from banks following Ming-dynasty customs, casting rippling reflections on the water.

Day4(Wuzhen → Suzhou):Prince's Garden + Suzhou Museum + Pingjiang Road
Meals:breakfast & lunch
Accommodation:Suzhou
Morning:Spend a tranquil morning savoring Wuzhen's unhurried charm at dawn before checking out. We then drive to Suzhou (approx. 2 hours), a city with 2,500 years of history that served as the capital of the ancient Wu Kingdom during the Spring and Autumn Period (770-476 BC) and remains Jiangnan's cultural heart.
Noon:Taste authentic Suzhou snacks: soup dumplings tracing back to Song Dynasty "stuffed buns" , and sweet red bean paste documented in Ming-Qing local chronicles—both carrying centuries of culinary heritage.

Afternoon:First visit the Humble Administrator’s Garden. Built during the Ming Zhengde era (1506-1521), it’s Jiangnan’s largest classical garden, meticulously designed to embody the Ming philosophy of "harmony between man and nature" and honored as the "Mother of Jiangnan Gardens."
Next, explore the Suzhou Museum, housing artifacts from Shang-Zhou bronzes to Ming-Qing treasures that chronicle Suzhou’s 2,500-year civilization.

Evening:Wander Pingjiang Road—a street preserving its Song-era name "Pingjiang Lane" and the Tang-Song "dual canal-road network" layout. Teahouses here host Kunqu opera and Pingtan storytelling, whose melodies originated from Ming Dynasty nanqu theater and still use traditional musical modes.
The night is yours to discover Suzhou’s street food scene—taste local specialties as a perfect finale.
- Day5:Tiger Hill Scenic Area+Back tracking
Meals:breakfast
Morning: Explore Tiger Hill, where history whispers through ancient trees. This site traces its lore to the Spring and Autumn Period (770-476 BC) as the burial ground of King Helü of Wu. Emperor Qinshihuang once climbed its slopes for panoramic views, and by the Tang Dynasty (618-907), it was renowned as the "Foremost Wonder of Wu." Enter beneath a canopy of dense foliage, then ascend the path to the Cloud Rock Pagoda atop the summit. Built during the Northern Song (960-1127), this brick pagoda leans slightly due to its uneven foundation—yet after a millennium of weathering storms, it stands resilient as China’s oldest surviving brick pagoda, hailed as the "Leaning Tower of the East."

Afternoon: We’ll transfer you to Suzhou Railway Station according to your flight schedule, concluding this 5-day Jiangnan journey. May these moments linger as a treasured memory of water towns, gardens, and timeless culture.
